    📋 Why We Collect Your Information

    Queensland Health collects your personal information to:

    • Run the Screen2Save education module
    • Track how people learn about bowel cancer screening
    • Improve health education and prevention strategies

    We collect this information when you complete the module, using a secure system run by a trusted service provider.

    🔒 How Your Information Is Used

    Your information may be used to:

    • See how well the program works
    • Plan better ways to promote bowel cancer screening
    • Share details with the National Cancer Screening Register, the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care, or other government agencies if required or authorised by law
    • Answer questions about bowel cancer screening
    • Share anonymous (de-identified) data like age range and gender with participating workplaces for evaluation

    Your personal information is stored securely and only used for these purposes.

    ️ What Happens if You Don’t Give Consent

    If you don't give consent:

    • You won’t be able to save your progress in the module
    • You won’t receive follow-up updates or program resources

    Participation is voluntary.

    🛡️ How We Protect Your Privacy

    • We protect your information under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
    • Strict safeguards are in place, but there is a very small chance de-identified data could be re-identified.
    • You can withdraw your consent at any time. Queensland Health may still use anonymous information for reporting.

    • Make a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been breached
